This Brunello, a wine of prestige and recognized character, is a pure expression of the Sangiovese grape, cultivated and cared for with dedication in the noble lands of the Castello and Velo vineyards. The aging for over two years in Slavonian oak barrels reflects a commitment to quality and tradition, ensuring an evolution of the wine that enhances every facet of the Sangiovese.

Care and attention begin with the terroir: located 290 meters above sea level, with a west-northwest exposure, the medium-textured soil with calcareous clay and sand offers an ideal habitat for the growth of the vines. The use of spurred cordon and guyot training techniques, together with a density of about 4,000 plants per hectare, ensure a concentrated and high-quality production, demonstrated by a yield per plant of only 1.5 kg.
