Gil Gin Italian Peated 50cl

Gin inspired by the discoveries of Dr. Gil, ship's doctor of the ship that sank in Calabria at the end of 1800 with Jefferson and Roger on board. The doctor was also an expert alchemist who managed to synthesize the venom of the fatal vipers of Rocca Imperiale. And not only that.

Gil is produced by distilling 4 main botanicals: Rocca Imperiale juniper, absinthe, elderberry and angelica. It is then flavoured with infusions of Rocca Imperiale PGI lemons, Pellaro bergamot, Bisignano bitter oranges, Paola oregano and aloe. The latter are left to infuse for a period of 3-4 months. The result is coarsely filtered through a simple linen cloth to remove only the impurities due to distillation and thus maintain the original colour.

One of a kind, Gil Torbato Italiano is a distillate that is born thanks to the richness of Calabria, in the beautiful setting of the Sila , where Vecchio Magazzino Doganale brought peat back to light.
