A perfect reflection of its terroir, Cristal comes from vineyard plots slowly assembled since 1845 and sustainably cultivated as part of a tailor-made viticultural approach. Practices include massal selection, gentle pruning, the use of biodynamic compost and long fallow periods. Louis Roederer also uses methods inspired by the principles of permaculture, in which the ecosystem regulates its own balance, creating a close link between Man and Nature.
