El Dorado 15 Year Old Special Reserve Rum is another exceptionally fine rum from Demerara Distillers in Guyana, part of their renowned aged rum range. This rum represents a further step up in quality and complexity from their 12 Year Old offering.
The 15-year aging process in selected wooden barrels gives this rum an extremely rich aromatic profile and an extraordinary depth of flavor. During aging, the rum develops complex notes of ripe tropical fruit, spices, chocolate, vanilla and a subtle woody accent, resulting in a perfect balance between sweetness, spiciness and toasted notes.
